Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and he will make your way straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
The mission of Golden Corner church is to
Help People Find What They Are Looking For

The Core Values behind everything we do at church are to
-
Follow Jesus
-
Get Together
-
Serve Somehow
-
Give Generously
-
Share Jesus
If everyone commits
to these five things, Jesus will impact our lives and many others will find what they are looking for.

GCC Is Growing
From 2021 to 2024, the average adult attendance doubled,
rising from 200 to more than 400.
The giving also multiplied
rising from $600,000 in 2020 to $850,000 in 2023!
In 2023 alone, there was an increase of
-
45% total attendance
-
26% in the kids ministry
-
30% in the general giving fund
And 74 people were baptized!

How have we prepared for this
GROWTH?
First, we prayed as a staff that God would use GCC, and by that, we mean getting back to the Core Values– that he would use us as a church and individuals to reach our neighbors.
May 2022
We began the Master Planning Process with LMG Architects which produced a three-phase construction plan should GCC continue to grow.
The Master Planning Goals
-
Building within our vision
-
Be great stewards of all facilities and finances
-
Do church during all phases of construction
April-May 2023
We interviewed Stewardship Partners and selected Injoy Stewardship.
May-October 2023
We interviewed recommended builders and selected Clayton Construction who worked with us to estimate the cost of Phase 1.
In the spring of 2024, we launched The
Make A Way Capital Campaign
which would help us significantly reduce the debt created by construction of the $2,500,000 Phase 1 Project.
Campaign Goals
Raise $800,000 or more over the next 3 years to
-
Keep more money going towards ministry rather than debt
-
Provide more room for an additional 130 adults in each worship service
-
Increase in foyer space to encourage community during church and special events
-
Additional Space for Kids Ministry
